An advisor who knows the iron gives you an edge on both sides of the table.
Pembleton Advisory guides manufacturers, lenders, and ownership groups through equipment transactions that demand genuine market intelligence — from a single stamping press to the complete disposition of a production facility.
Who we are and how we operate
Pembleton Advisory was built on a conviction that most equipment transactions go sideways for the same reason: the party giving advice has a financial interest in one particular outcome. We do not operate that way. Our advisory relationship with a client begins before any transaction structure is chosen, which means the valuation we deliver is the same number we would defend to a lender, a judge, or a room full of competing bidders. It does not shift depending on whether we are buying, selling, or consulting. That discipline is what makes the advice worth having. We work across the complete spectrum of metalworking and plastics processing equipment — from stamping lines and CNC machining departments to injection and blow mold systems, grinding cells, die cast operations, fabrication and forming equipment, and everything in between. The category breadth is deliberate: a narrow specialist serves a narrow situation, and the manufacturers, lenders, and ownership groups who rely on us face situations that rarely stay narrow. Geography follows the assets, not the other way around — we operate across North America and maintain an active global buyer network, because the right buyer for a given machine is rarely in the same zip code as the seller. No fabricated track records. No inflated appraisals engineered to secure a listing. No advisory that evaporates the moment the conversation turns difficult.
How we put capital assets to work
Pembleton Advisory enters every engagement as a genuine advisor — which means the work begins with understanding what the assets are actually worth before anyone discusses what to do with them. Documented valuations are the foundation: fair market, orderly liquidation, and distressed recovery figures, written to withstand scrutiny from lenders, ownership boards, legal counsel, and acquirers. That discipline covers the full production floor — metal stamping lines and fabrication departments, CNC turning and milling cells, precision grinding equipment, injection molding presses, blow mold systems, thermoform cells, extrusion and extruder configurations, rotational mold carousels, rubber and silicone processing lines, Swiss turning centers, wire and ram EDM, die cast cells and trim presses, tool and die inventories, automation and auxiliary systems, and complete mold and tooling packages. Once the valuation is documented, the disposition path follows from the numbers rather than from a predetermined agenda. Pembleton Advisory purchases equipment outright when a seller's priority is certainty — committed capital, clear terms, and a closing that does not depend on a third-party buyer materializing on schedule. Consignment is structured for situations where the asset quality or market depth supports a higher recovery and a seller can work within a defined timeline; we manage every step from positioning through closing, drawing on our North American reach and a live global buyer network. Auction and managed liquidation formats are deployed when a plant closure, receivership, or estate settlement requires a defined endpoint and a settlement date that will not move. On the acquisition side, Pembleton Advisory sources and vets specific equipment configurations for manufacturers who need the right machine rather than the nearest available one — spec-driven searches, independent condition assessment, and negotiation that represents the buyer's interest, not the seller's. When the scope of an engagement extends beyond individual assets, Pembleton Advisory manages complete business sales and turnkey facility exits. We handle the transaction holistically — contracts, real estate, and M&E are coordinated as a single transfer, with one point of accountability rather than three separate parties pulling toward different closing tables.
